- Estonian cuisine is not well known in Japan. Estonia is a small country located in Northern Europe with a population of 1.33 million. Although the country is about the size of Kyushu, it is located at the intersection of Northern Europe and Eastern Europe. Having been ruled by Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Russia in the past, Estonia's cuisine and culture formed a unique food culture. Today, many Estonian food producers are using organic farming methods, and actively adopting techniques such as cutting-edge biotechnology. We will introduce such exotic Estonian food culture at the seminar.
